Welcome back to another Quick Lick guitar lesson! In this instalment we take some inspiration from the main modern day bluesman, Joe Bonamassa. Inspired by all the greatest blues axe slingers, Joe has a wide range of influences and has distilled it down into his own slick and unique flavour. Not just a bluesman, Joe is as adept as a rock guitarist as he is within the blues realm. I imagine Gary Moore handed him the torch for him to carry on with before he left this mortal realm. With this lick, we take some inspiration from some of his blues phrasing and those quick but clean pentatonic runs. As usual watch the timing and subtleties on this one and remember to crank it loud!
